Strap on your tool belt, as Charlie and Miss Ellie, your “Anywhere Teacher,” visit a house that is under construction. With hard hat and caution, they will solve a “puzzle it out” question of the day. Violet Raccoon joins in with some comparison fun. “What does not belong? Wrench? Carrots? Bologna sandwich? Socrates the Owl, a nocturnal bird, shows up in the daytime because construction sites are quite noisy. He helps with some other comparing. Which cut boards are the same size? Which pieces of wood are the same shape? Charlie’s beaver buddy Levi Cottonwood comes along to do some matching activities with tools. After solving the puzzle, sing along with Brian Vander Ark and Miss Ellie in their tune full of tools.
